How We Use Your Information

Your information is used to personalize your faith experience, including tailored devotional content and prayer suggestions. We use usage data to track your spiritual growth and provide meaningful insights through the Stats Dashboard. We may use aggregated, anonymized data to improve app performance, develop new features, and enhance the overall God Unlocked experience. We do not sell your personal data to third parties, nor do we share it for advertising purposes.

Data Storage & Security

All personal data is encrypted both at rest and in transit using industry-standard encryption protocols. Your information is stored on secure, access-controlled servers. We implement regular security audits and access controls. All faith-related data (prayer history, reading progress, quiz scores) is stored primarily on your device. We retain your data only as long as necessary to provide the service or as required by law.

Third-Party Services

God Unlocked integrates with select third-party services to enhance your experience. We use the YouVersion Bible API to provide Scripture content and reading plans. Push notification services (Apple Push Notification Service and Firebase Cloud Messaging) are used to deliver prayer reminders and streak notifications. RevenueCat manages subscription billing securely. Each third-party service has its own privacy policy governing data use.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time through your account settings. You may opt out of push notifications and email reminders without affecting your ability to use the App. You can request a complete export of your data or request permanent deletion. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email address provided below or use the in-app privacy settings.

Children's Privacy

God Unlocked is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information promptly. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons.
